On Monday morning May 31, 2010, America’s Memorial Day, I awaken at 3:30 AM with thoughts swarming my mind.  Israel you were on my mind!  I finally gave in and arose just before 5 AM, grabbing my morning tea, said a prayer and headed for my computer to catch up on the news.   What news was to be found?  More on the flotilla, this time though Israel’s Navy had to board the ship and all heck broke loose.  As  I read the reports coming in I knew there would be a media frenzy that would burst forth accusing Israel of being the aggressor.  I could see the emails flying to American legislators calling on them to stand against Israel knowing that the first reports the media would show would be from Turkey or Hamas’s (Gaza) perspective because they have the upper hand in the media war.

Knowing what was about to break forth, I sat and wrote a blog titled ” Please Stand with Israel Now”.  In this blog I briefly described what was about to happen and called on America to contact their leaders and ask them to stand with Israel. Please take a moment a read this post.   Sure enough what I believed would happen in media did, and yes Legislators are receiving emails.  How do I know this?  Because my husband is one of those Legislators who has received the email asking him to stand against  Israel.

I chose to wait a day to write this blog because I wanted the dust to settle.  I knew every one and their brother would be writing, blogging or talking about this but I want the real reports.  The videos from the military, first hand accounts etc.  So with all this said here we go,on the journey for truth!

The first video is a message from Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Spokesman Yigal Palmor regarding aid to Gaza and the Flotilla.  You need to also understand that Ashdod, Israel is the sea port for most vessels bringing goods into Gaza from other organizations.  You also need to consider the safety standards that are used when cargo comes into America.  Again, should we ask anything less of Israel?

It is obvious that an agenda other than what is being portrayed by the organizer of the  Gaza Flotilla is at hand.  You need to understand that most people who bring aid into Gaza know that the best route is by land.

Now lets look at a video from the Israel Navy making the request for to the Mavi Marmara to dock in Ashdod, Israel for inspection.  What would the US Coast Guard do if a ship was coming into America and it’s purpose was not clear?  While the media, our leaders, EU Nations want to make accusations against Israel, Truth #1 begins to show that Israel was taking proper steps.   Truth #2 will address the next steps taken during the Flotilla matter.   You need to share this with your friends and call your legislators.  Contact Sec. of State Clinton and tell her not to stand with the EU but to stand with Israel.
