I would love to visit Itamar. I’ve only been to Israel once, in 1992. A friend and I visited an Israeli artist and her husband at their home in East Talpiot, Jerusalem. They showed us a picture of what Israel might look like as a result of, what was then, the beginning of the ‘peace process’ that has cost Israel so dearly. I was shocked because I hadn’t heard much about that. They also said that previously they had had good relations with their Arab neighbors; but that was all beginning to change. There was a lot of sadness in the telling of this.

Much more professional! The kids in the wheelchairs are guests, Itamar puts on a special concert every year.
